Paper Scissor Stone - Leeds - UK
Menswear clothing label Electronic Poet have teamed up with graphic designer Si Scott and art curator Jules Balchin to open a store and art gallery in Leeds called Paper Scissor Stone. The 2,200 sq ft space which opened on the 24th of November is housed in a stunning goldfish bowl like unit and showcases the trio’s inspirations and favorite products from furniture designers, like minded artists and fashion labels through to books and music.
Original and signed artwork and prints from Anthony Burrill, No Days Off, Revenge Is Sweet, Rose Stallard, Alex Trochut, Steven Wilson and our very own Si Scott sit alongside a fine mix of mens and womens apparel from contemporary brands such as Wood Wood, RittenHouse, Steven Alan, Atelier LaDurance, Sixpack, Tonite, Edwin Jeans, Something & Something Else, Paul & Joe Sister and of course the full collection from Electronic Poet.
Expect specialist book and magazine titles in the fields of photography, art & design, travel, music and fashion. Contemporary furniture from Naught One, Anglepoise and Propaganda, camera’s from Lomography and quirky items from Atypyk. You can buy CD’s from the PSSSt top 10 and tickets for local club nights and gigs, read the papers and browse the internet in a one stop shop.
I paid a visit on Sunday and would definitely recommend popping in if you’re in the area!
The Hype Type x Si Scott print is available at Hype Store…

E2E
E2E is a learning programme which began in England in August 2003, and is primarily aimed at young people aged 16-18 who are not participating in any form of post-16 learning. It is designed to help them to develop their motivation and confidence, personal effectiveness and basic and key skills, and to give them a range of opportunities to gain vocational knowledge, skills and understanding. The aim is that they will progress into a Modern Apprenticeship, further learning and/or a job.
Our latest work involved designing and art directing marketing materials to promote the service.
